Sharon passed away peacefully at home on April 30, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Kelvington, Saskatchewan on October 8, 1947.
Predeceased by her brother Peter. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Ron, her brothers Gary and Michael and sister-in-law MaryVonne, and their respective families.
Sharon spent most of her working life as a senior immigration officer in Victoria and was highly respected by her colleagues, both in Immigration and Customs Enforcement and King Brothers shipping agents.
Her doctor Dr. deserves special mention. Pavlik, the local cancer clinic, and Brent and other community nurses for their special care that allowed her to spend her last days at home.
A celebration of her life will be held at McCall Gardens, 4665 Falaise Drive, on July 5, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
