No. 16 seed Tennessee opened play in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday. The Lady Vols completed a 4-0 sweep of Murray State at Barksdale Stadium.

“Having a good rest after the SEC tournament was really helpful,” Tennessee senior Esther Adeshina said. “I think our bodies and minds needed some time off. It was good to watch some film about how we played and what we needed to do and focus on going into the NCAA Tournament. Once we get back on the field, I’ve been working on the details I need to work on.”

The Lady Vols advance to the second round of the NCAA Tournament against Duke on Sunday. The first service is scheduled for 1:00 PM EDT at Barksdale Stadium.
